royal Oman police arrested prostitutes

The Royal Oman Police has arrested 43 Asian women in a prostitution crackdown.

The police arrested the women in Wilayat Boshar in Muscat Governorate for practicing prostitution and violating the residency law, Times of Oman reported.

Investigators, in cooperation with Special Tasks Police, raided several locations in Al Khuwair, where 10 women were caught.

The remaining 33 were arrested in three different locations, the report added.
