The federal government has confirmed that it is time to boost the current power supply level in the country by not less than 700 megawatts that will be added to the national power grid.
This was confirmed by the minister of power, works and housing Babatunde Raji Fashola in a statement issued by Etore Thomas, the deputy director, press in the power ministry.

It is a great and feasible feat that would boost the provision of electricity supply nation-wide.
It is a good omen for the attainment of the present administration’s thrust of providing incremental, sustainable and uninterrupted power supply which Nigerians are looking forward to.
The statement also revealed that Niger state is also playing host to three other power plants that will equally add massive wattage to the national power grid.
